Dr Kiyork is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon, who performs surgery of the hip and knee using advanced state-of-the art techniques, namely robotic assisted hip and knee replacement and computer navigated total knee replacement. He also sees and manages orthopaedic trauma, such as fractures, as well as sports injuries. In addition, he performs knee arthroscopy and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery. 

Dr Kiyork was educated in Sydney, and was dux of Mosman High School in 1985. He went on to study medicine at the University of New South Wales, graduating and obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in February 1991.

He spent his internship and resident years in public hospitals and then focused his experience to orthopaedics. He commenced the four year advanced training scheme on the Australian Orthopaedic Association’s training scheme in 1997, obtaining his Fellowship with The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in January 2001. He is also a Fellow of The Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Following this, he obtained further experience both overseas and in Australia working with leading orthopaedic surgeons. He also underwent training in the use of robotic assisted joint replacement surgery.

Dr Kiyork is committed to his patient’s outcomes. Some conditions do not require surgery and Dr Kiyork will help map out a management plan in those instances. If surgery is indicated, Dr Kiyork will explain the rationale, benefits, expectations and risks with the patient, so that an informed decision can be made.
