Dr Michael Chae

Michael is an Australian-trained Specialist Plastic Surgeon with a strong focus on skin cancer surgery, facial reconstruction, and facial aesthetic surgery. Born in South Korea, raised in Melbourne, and trained in Sydney, he brings a broad and considered perspective to his practice.

Michael studied Medicine at the University of Melbourne and completed a PhD in the development of 3D printing applications in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Monash University. He later relocated to Sydney to undertake specialist training, completing his Plastic Surgery Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, where he has since settled with his family.

Michael is committed to caring for patients as individuals. He takes the time to listen, explain options clearly, and provide personalised care, with a focus on achieving the best possible functional and aesthetic outcomes.
